More Features to Come
After weeks of absence because of college demands, we actually announce our few features that were just made in our game.
More enemies Gadgets
We added some gadgets held by the enemies to make the game more complicated, and make the player to play the game carefully. We have added mines, Thorns, and Minigun. All of them are lethal, and could kill the player instantly. Mine and Thorns are the traps that will be put on land, as the player have to be careful with his steps. While the minigun, will be controlled remotely; it will rotate for certain amount of time, and it will shoot the player if the minigun detects the player. We are using the Raycast2D to detect whether the player is colliding with the raycast or not. However, we are still unable to make laser sight, both for the minigun and the player's aim. We are still trying to figure it out, the line renderer is there, but we do not know how to implement it to become a laser. Some videos tutorial really dont show anything, and they barely explain the meaning of the syntax while scripting. But we will try to figure it out soon, as we have some higher priorities come up.
We also have made our menu structure. Our game now has main menu, pause menu, completed with Save Game and Load Game. Now we are trying to focus on designing two more levels for the game, as we want to release it with five level first, for our college project, we will keep polishing and make this game better soon!
